Where We Eat: Breckenridge, CO

Where We Eat: Breckenridge, CO

The most common question I get from friends & family that visit is “Where should we eat?” You’ve been asking & I’m finally answering, properly!

I put together a list of our favorite restaurants in Breckenridge. The list is long because there truly are a lot of amazing restaurants in Breckenridge. Most of our favorite restaurants in the county are located in Breck! To check out the menu, click the name of the restaurant. I recommend making reservations whenever possible!

Breakfast & Brunch

  • Breckfast - great for a delicious & quick breakfast. Cocktail menu is yummy, too!

  • BoLD - Mediterranean cuisine with a great brunch menu & Bloody Mary bar.

  • Daylight Donuts - THE place for donuts & sausage rolls in Summit County. Try their raised blueberry donuts, you can thank me later.

  • The Crown - amazing coffee, great vibe, yummy food! Oh and frozen alcoholic beverages in summer.

  • Columbine Café - traditional sit down breakfast with big plates. Get there early, the line gets long fast.

  • Cuppa Joe - my go to place when I’m craving a latte & bagel. They serve local coffee from Breck Coffee Roasters.

Lunch & Dinner

  • Sancho Tacos & Tequila - We eat here at least once a month. Tex-mex done right with delicious street tacos, queso & frozen margaritas. They also offer a delicious non-alcoholic refresher or tequila flights

  • Blue River Bistro - Upscale American food with unique cocktails. It’s our go-to special occasion restaurant.

  • Giampietros - my favorite pizza in Summit County. New York style pizza & classic Italian dishes.

  • Castaways Cove - a trip to the Hawaiian islands without leaving Breck. Delectable poke bowls & tiki cocktails.

  • Downstairs at Eric’s - sports bar meets arcade makes it Carson’s favorite restaurant. If you have kids, you need to try it out. The food is yummy & the arcade is a blast.

  • Kenosha Steakhouse - my favorite spot if we want to eat outside. They have yard games with a huge deck, very kid & dog friendly.

  • Gold Pan Saloon -they are affiliated with/ connected to Carboy Winery. We went for frosé but garlic fries & tacos stole the show.

  • Hearthstone - a very fancy restaurant for a special occasion. The restaurant is beautiful & cozy. The menu is fabulous, however, it is the most expensive restaurant on my list

  • South Ridge Seafood Grill - fresh & delicious seafood dishes in a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Fatty’s Pizzeria - our second favorite pizza place & sports bar in Breck. Unique pizza options and a great view on the porch.

  • Whiskey Star Breckenridge - the owners went above and beyond to ensure their meat is smoked the authentic Texan way! If you’re looking for bbq this is the place.

  • Empire Burger - my mom’s favorite burger joint & it’s been voted best burger in Breck for many years.

  • Flip Side - burgers, craft beer & handmade milkshakes… the trifecta! My husband loves this burger joint.

  • Aurum - I haven’t been, but my mom says it’s great & needed to be on my list. Higher end restaurant but offers amazing happy hour deals.

  • Piante - wood fired pizza made from entirely plant-based ingredients. As a non-vegan I was pleasantly surprised, it’s perfect for the dairy + meat free friends.
