One of my oldest friends is having a baby and I’m so excited for her. She has spoiled me through three pregnancies already & deserves the best. I made a great list of gift ideas for her upcoming gender reveal party & decided to share the list with you.
Gender reveal parties are a popular trend these days. Couples throw a party to find out the gender of their baby while surrounded by their family and friends. Usually colorful confetti or smoke is involved!
If you get invited to a gender reveal party you probably feel the urge to bring a gift. And you should bring a gift!! But hear me out… bring a gift for mom & dad, not the baby.
I know it’s unconventional and taboo, however, the baby still has a whole party (the baby shower) just for them. The parents will literally make a registry full of things they want for their bundle of joy. Not to mention - you don’t even know the gender yet.

Gift card to a restaurant the parents love - they won’t get many nights alone after baby comes

Date night gift card - top golf, movies, cooking class, dave & busters, etc
Gift card to an esthetician for a facial, skincare products, or a belly facial
Manicure & pedicure appointment - both parents deserve some pampering

We didn’t have a fancy gender reveal party, however, I got to surprise Will during our second pregnancy!
